A special pleasure for me personally, but also for the GREVIO Committee I lead at the Council of Europe, to have had the President of the European Court of Human Rights (Strasbourg Court), Ms. Síofra O’Leary, as a guest for an exchange of ideas. She is the first woman in the history of the Court to serve as its President, a significant institution for human rights. A fantastic and useful presentation to understand how GREVIO’s monitoring reports are widely used by the Court to help women and girls obtain the justice they have been denied.
