Representatives of the Counseling Line for Women and Girls participated in a television discussion on RTSH regarding early marriages and their impact on the mental health and well-being of girls.
The discussion also addressed the phenomenon of asymmetrical relationships where an imbalance of age or power exists, emphasizing that in such cases, “consent” is often influenced by social or emotional pressure.
Based on cases handled by the Line, it was noted that many young girls and women seek help after ending abusive relationships, facing difficulties in emotional recovery and rebuilding self-esteem.
