This year-end, the Line tried to bring some joy to the women and children who, unfortunately, will not celebrate 2024 in their homes but at the National Shelter for Victims of Violence.

We express our gratitude to the shelter staff, who, together with the State Police and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, have always been cooperative in providing support and emergency protection for women who, during 2023, sought help via the emergency number 116117 when they felt at risk from their abusers.

Many thanks also go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Albania who provided some of the Christmas and New Year gifts for the children and women of the shelter. We hope the new year will bring safety and a new life, free from fear, for these children and their mothers!
