Strengthening the institution to combat violence and discrimination through capacity-building and providing services to victims has been the focus of a months-long project implemented by the Counseling Line for Women and Girls, supported by Raiffeisen Invest Albania.
During these months, several informative sessions were held with 23 women from marginalized groups, 169 young people participated in interactive workshops against violence and hate speech, and 19 professionals were trained on mechanisms to address violence.
As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, and in partnership with the Municipality of Tirana, we organized the closing event of this project today, which also featured the “Generation A” exhibition by artist Julius Eb, followed by an open discussion on gender-based violence in Albania.
