This 8th of March we had a lively and open discussion with police officers at the Security Academy in Tirana about hate speech and sexism in the media, and discrimination police women face in the workplace because of their gender.

We thank the Ambassador of the Netherlands for his presence and valuable input in the discussion, the Deputy General Director of State Police for laying out the measures that the government has undertaken to fight sexism in the police force, and the Commissioner for Protection against Discrimination for introducing the relevant reporting tools.
